1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at mapleultimateplay.com ("the Site") and the free social games made available through it ("the Service"), both operated by MapleUltimatePlay ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting the Site or playing any game you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must leave the Site immediately.

2. Eligibility — 18+ Only

The Service is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 years or older. By accessing the Site you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to block any user who we have reasonable grounds to believe is a minor.

3. Nature of the Service — Not Gambling Under Canadian Law

MapleUltimatePlay is a free social gaming platform that offers casino-style games for entertainment only. The Service does not constitute gambling under the Criminal Code of Canada (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-46) because:

• No real money, cryptocurrency, vouchers or any item of monetary value is required, requested or accepted at any point;
• No real money, prizes, goods or other things of value can be won;
• Virtual coins are an internal point system with no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, sold or converted into anything of value;
• Outcomes of in-browser games do not produce financial gain or loss.

Provincial gaming regulation does not apply to the Service for the same reasons. The Service is offered to residents of Canada subject to local laws governing online content.

4. Virtual Coins

Each game offers a starting balance of 1,000 virtual coins. Virtual coins:

• Have no real-world monetary value;
• Cannot be redeemed for cash, prizes, vouchers, cryptocurrency or any goods;
• Cannot be sold or transferred between users or accounts;
• Are stored locally in your browser; clearing browser data will reset balances;
• Can be refilled to 1,000 free of charge using the in-game "Refill Free Coins" button.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial entertainment. You will not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, modify or redistribute any part of the Site;
• Use automated tools, bots or scripts to interact with the Service;
• Attempt to bypass the age verification gate or impersonate another user;
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable or impair our infrastructure;
• Use the Service if you are currently subject to any voluntary self-exclusion programme related to gaming or gambling.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including but not limited to the source code, design, graphics, illustrations, game mechanics, copy, the MapleUltimatePlay name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trade-mark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any of this content without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MapleUltimatePlay and its affiliates, directors, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed CAD $50.

9. Privacy & Cookies

Our use of cookies and local storage to keep your virtual coin balance, age confirmation and consent preferences is described in the Cookie Policy. We do not collect, store or sell personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to operate the Site and to respond to your contact-form submissions.

10. Responsible Gaming

11. Modifications to the Service and the Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. 12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario for the resolution of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.
